Home - Mansell Premix
Neil Mansell Concrete joined the Neil Mansell Group in 2005 with the purchase of an independent premix concrete company with two fixed concrete plants in Mackay and Moranbah, one mobile concrete plant, a sand extraction facility and cement importing warehouse.
Since then, Neil Mansell Concrete has purchased a concrete batching plant in Bowen, Tin Can Bay, Gympie, Toowoomba and Bundaberg and is looking to establish a plant in the Maroochydore area in the near future.
The main focus for Neil Mansell Concrete is to operate the Group’s concrete batching businesses, as well as the ancillary support activities such as the Callide fly ash contract and the importation of cement powder from China for utilisation by the Group’s businesses.
At Neil Mansell Concrete we are very committed to protecting the environment, and have on staff, a full time Environmental, Health and Safety officer responsible for our Environmental Health and Safely management system. We also employ a technical manager responsible for our Quality Assurance Management System.
Neil Mansell Concrete has performed some very large concrete pours, and some of our Mobile Plant Projects include supplying 16,000m3 for the Wivenhoe Dam upgrade, 25,000m3 for the Burdekin to Moranbah Pipeline and over 38,000m3 for the Darling Downs Power Station.
Some of the larger projects supplied from our fixed plants in the last twelve months include the Mackay Airport upgrade, the Ergon Energy substation and the Mackay Water Recycling project from the Mackay Concrete Batch Plant, the Poitrel Mine upgrade and the Moranbah water treatment and recycling plant from the Moranbah plant and the Plantation, Rainbow Beach from the Tin Can Bay Plant.
We have a current EPA licence that allows us to operate mobile concrete plants without development approval on any site in Queensland for the period of the project.
