About Us - Mansell Bulk Haulage

Mansell Bulk Haulage was formed as a registered business in 2004 to supply raw materials to the independent concrete suppliers of the Sunshine Coast area of Queensland, and to operate mobile concrete plants for the supply to the Gold Coast City Marina and the Wivenhoe Dam upgrade.

stampBy mid 2005, upon the success of the Wivenhoe project, Mansell Bulk Haulage purchased an independent premixed concrete company and ancillary operations in North Queensland.

With the expansion of the business, that was to become Mansell Premix Pty Ltd, and the two fixed concrete plants at Mackay and Moranbah servicing the thriving coal mining boom in the Bowen Basin, Mansell Bulk Haulage won the contract for the haulage and supply of concrete for the large Millennium Coal Mine and the Hay Point Coal terminal expansion.

By 2007, Mansell Bulk Haulage had acquired a fixed concrete plant at Tin Can Bay, Gympie and Bowen, and continued to grow with the purchase of another fixed concrete plant in Bundaberg in 2008. With this purchase, it brought the number of fixed concrete plants to six, and a separate entity from Mansell Bulk Haulage,  Mansell Premix Pty Ltd was developed. Mansell Premix is now trading as Neil Mansell Concrete.
